Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Engineer Architect to design, develop, and maintain a robust security architecture for our organization. The role involves creating advanced security solutions, implementing cybersecurity protocols, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. This position requires extensive knowledge in cybersecurity practices, a deep understanding of emerging threats, and the ability to design complex systems to mitigate risks.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement security architecture frameworks and best practices to protect the organization's systems and data.
  • Design secure network and application environments, incorporating advanced security protocols.
  • Conduct thorough risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and mitigate potential threats.
  • Collaborate with various departments to determine security requirements and develop effective mitigation strategies.
  • Create security solutions and recommend improvements based on the latest cybersecurity technologies.
  • Lead initiatives to enhance network and data protection capabilities across the organization.
  • Lead efforts to maintain compliance with relevant regulations and maintain documentation on security practices.
  • Develop incident response procedures and lead investigations into security incidents.
  • Coordinate with IT teams to provide real-time analysis and recommendations during security events.
  • Mentor and provide technical leadership to junior members of the cybersecurity team.
  • Develop training programs to educate staff on cybersecurity risks and best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. A master's degree is preferred.
  • Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in cybersecurity, with at least 3 years in a security architect or equivalent role.
  • Strong knowledge of security frameworks and technologies like firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, etc.
  • Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or equivalent are highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Key Skills:

  • Proficiency in security risk assessment and mitigation strategies.
  • Strong understanding of network security, cryptographic protocols, and data encryption.
  • Experience in threat modeling, security design, and application testing.
  • Familiarity with DevSecOps practices and integration of security into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team environment.
