Opportunity Description

Position Summary:

The Accounting Manager plays a pivotal role within Classic Development LLC, responsible for overseeing all accounting functions to ensure accuracy, compliance with accounting standards, and financial integrity. Reporting to the CFO or designated executive, the Accounting Manager leads a team and manages day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Management: Oversee all aspects of financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management. Ensure that financial transactions are accurately recorded, monitored, and reported in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).

2. Accounts Payable: Supervise the accounts payable process, including invoice processing, vendor payments, and expense management. Review and approve payment requests while maintaining accurate records and ensuring timely disbursement.

3. Accounts Receivable: Manage the accounts receivable function, including invoicing, billing, and collections. Monitor customer payments and follow up on overdue accounts to minimize outstanding balances.

4. Payroll Administration: Coordinate payroll processing activities, including employee compensation, benefits administration, and payroll tax compliance. Ensure accurate and timely payroll processing while adhering to relevant regulations and internal policies.

5. Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial statements, reports, and budgets to provide insights into the company's financial performance. Communicate financial results to management and stakeholders, highlighting key metrics and trends.

6. Compliance and Auditing: Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal controls. Coordinate with auditors and regulatory authorities as necessary to facilitate audits and examinations.

7. Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies within the accounting function. Implement best practices and streamline workflows to enhance productivity and accuracy.

8. Team Leadership: Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to the accounting team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment. Set clear expectations, provide feedback, and facilitate professional development opportunities.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA certification preferred.

- 3 years of progressive experience in accounting roles, with 1 years in a supervisory or managerial capacity.

- Thorough knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and regulations (GAAP).

- Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, NetSuite). - Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to interpret financial data and trends.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

- Proven leadership abilities, with the capacity to inspire and motivate team members to achieve organizational goals.

- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines
