Position Overview:

As a Community Development Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in fostering community engagement, driving innovative expansion strategies, and securing funding to support our growth initiatives.

You will collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to enhance our presence in the community and pursue opportunities for sustainable development and expansion.

Responsibilities:

Community Outreach & Involvement

  • Develop and maintain relationships with local community stakeholders, including residents, businesses, and government entities.
  •  Organize community engagement events, workshops, and forums to gather feedback, address concerns, and promote participation in development initiatives.
  • Collaborate with community leaders and organizations to identify opportunities for partnership and collaboration.

Innovative Expansion Strategies:

  • Research and analyze market trends and demographic shifts to identify emerging opportunities in the residential construction sector.
  • Develop innovative strategies to expand our operations, including exploring new markets, product offerings, and construction techniques.
  • Propose and implement initiatives to differentiate our business in a rapidly changing market, such as sustainable building practices or smart home integration. Grant Writing & Funding Acquisition:
  • Identify and pursue grant opportunities and government funding programs to support our expansion and innovative initiatives. • Develop persuasive grant proposals and funding requests that align with our business goals and community development objectives. • Manage the grant application process, ensuring compliance with all requirements and deadlines.

Stakeholder Collaboration & Partnership Development:

  • Cultivate relationships with potential partners such as developers, investors, and technology providers to support our growth and innovation agenda.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to explore joint ventures, strategic alliances, and other partnership opportunities that leverage our strengths and capabilities.
  • Act as a liaison between our business and external stakeholders, fostering collaboration and mutually beneficial relationships.
