Dynquest Medical, a Medical Supply Company/Specialty Pharmacy, is seeking candidates with strong insurance and billing knowledge and experience to join our team.
Job Summary:
The Medical Claims and Administrative Specialist is responsible for the timely processing and submission of clean medical claims to all payers, including Medicaid, Medicaid Managed Care, commercial plans, and patient billing. This role involves identifying and following up on claim rejections and denials, as well as managing the process for claim corrections, adjustments, and appeals.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Reviewing claims for accuracy before timely submission, both electronically and using CMS 1500 paper claim forms.
- Ensuring all supporting documentation is on file prior to claim submission.
- Identifying and resolving claim denials and rejections, maintaining knowledge of the payer’s appeals process.
- Performing general office duties, such as answering phones, filing, and other administrative tasks.
- Verifying patient eligibility with insurance companies and processing/fulfilling equipment orders.
- Adhering to established productivity and quality thresholds, company policies, and procedures.
