Clinical Support:

  • Assist physicians during examinations and minor procedures.

  • Prepare and sanitize examination rooms between visits.

  • Record vital signs including temperature, blood pressure, height, and weight.

  • Perform basic laboratory tests (e.g., blood draws, urinalysis), if qualified.

Administrative & Back Office Support:

  • Answer and triage phone calls and emails, schedule follow-up visits, and process referrals.

  • Maintain and update electronic and paper medical records, ensuring confidentiality.

  • Coordinate patient referrals to specialists and track follow-up care.

  • Monitor and restock medical supplies as needed.

Office Operations & Organization:

  • Maintain daily schedules and ensure efficient patient flow throughout the practice.

  • Sanitize and maintain medical equipment according to protocol.

  • Support the overall administrative and organizational functions of the office.

Qualifications:

Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (required).

  • Completion of an accredited medical assistant program or equivalent clinical experience (preferred).

  • Certification as a CMA (Certified Medical Assistant) or RMA (Registered Medical Assistant) preferred.

Experience:

  • Experience in a healthcare or primary care setting is highly desirable.

  • Familiarity with medical terminology, anatomy, and patient care procedures.
