Are you ready to step up and make an impact? We're looking for an Inventory Control, Parts, and Shipping Specialist who’s not afraid to roll up their sleeves, take ownership, and get things done right. This isn’t just about moving boxes and managing stock—this is about keeping the gears turning in a mission-critical operation. You’ll be the go-to person for ensuring that our components are exactly where they need to be, when they need to be there. From kitting to shipping, you’ll handle it all with precision, and if you’ve got a knack for organization, this role is calling your name!
You’ll be working part-time, but don’t let the hours fool you—this role is high impact. If you love a challenge, thrive on checking things off your list, and take pride in a job well done, you’re exactly who we need at C-AT®.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inventory Management
- You're the master of inventory. From tracking electronic components in our system to keeping everything organized in the warehouse, you’ve got it covered. Regular audits? No problem. You'll know our stock better than anyone.
- Kitting
We rely on you to make sure our production team has everything they need to get the job done. You’ll assemble kits like a boss, ensuring every part is accounted for and ready to roll.
Incoming materials? Outgoing shipments? You’ve got it handled. Domestic or international, you’ll ensure every box is packed with care and all paperwork is spot-on. Keeping the flow moving and records straight is where you shine. Details matter. You’ll maintain records with precision and ensure that every shipment and inventory move complies with company policies and regulations. You see things through a different lens. You don’t just do things; you do them better every time. If there’s a faster, smarter, or more efficient way to handle inventory, you’ll find it.
Why Join C-AT®?
- Documentation and Compliance
- Continuous Improvement
Here’s the deal: when you join C-AT®, you’re joining a team on a mission. Every piece of inventory you handle, every shipment you send out, directly supports first responders, military personnel, and emergency services in their most critical moments. You’ll know that what you do truly matters—and not just to our company, but to the world. You’ll be part of something much bigger than a job title.
This position is about being surrounded by people who care about getting it right, making things better, and supporting each other along the way. Every task you complete here helps ensure that those on the front lines have the equipment they need when it counts.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Education
- High school diploma or GED. One year of related experience in inventory control, parts management, or shipping is required—If you’ve got the right attitude, we’re willing to teach the rest.
- Preferred Experience
Experience with inventory management systems like SoS Inventory or MRP? That’s a plus. Know your way around domestic and international shipping regulations? Even better.
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word is essential. Bonus points if you can follow a Bill of Materials (BoM) without breaking a sweat. You’re a multitasking machine with a sharp eye for detail. You can juggle priorities like a pro and keep things running smoothly. Organization is your middle name, and you love learning new systems. You’ve got the strength to lift boxes up to 50 pounds. We work hard, but we work smart too.
