Project Billing Specialist
Job Summary: The Project Billing Specialist is responsible for managing the billing process for construction projects, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing. This role involves coordinating with project managers and clients to facilitate smooth financial operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and issue invoices for construction projects in accordance with contract terms.
- Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding invoices.
- Collaborate with project managers to gather necessary documentation for billing purposes.
- Maintain detailed records of all billing transactions and communications.
- Assist in resolving billing discrepancies and respond to client inquiries.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of billing procedures to improve efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; relevant experience may be considered.
- At least 1 years of billing experience, preferably in the construction industry.
- Familiarity with construction billing practices, including AIA documentation and gcpay.
- Proficiency in accounting and Desktop QuickBooks billing software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
