The Strategic Partnerships coordinator will be responsible for planning, developing, and executing our partnerships strategy and will actively engage in the development of new partnerships through research, identification, cultivation, and execution.
We are seeking a highly personable, analytical, detail oriented individual to join our corporate management team as a Director of Strategic Partnerships. The individual must come from a sales, communications, marketing, or business development background and will not only provide direct support to all teams at Tailor On Tap but will have the opportunity to join a young company that is fast growing.
What does the Director of Strategic Partnerships at Tailor on Tap do?
- Oversee our fast growing omni-channel sales strategy and allow small, medium, and large groups to take full advantage of made to order custom clothing experiences.
- Develop and implement a strategic sales partnership plan to meet company growth objectives.
- Design and implement product offerings and pricing strategies with internal teams.
- Execute on team priorities and proactively identify and resolve roadblocks.
- Identify and manage a partner pipeline that will bring Tailor on Tap’s products to new customers.
- Establish product and market requirements to ensure future growth and success.
- Travel to meet with prospective partners and universities or attend conferences, trade shows, and/or university events across the country on behalf of Tailor on Tap.
What does it take to be the Director of Strategic Partnerships at Tailor on Tap?
- Strong understanding of retail industry, preferred
- Previous experience in business to business sales
- Experience working with corporate, university, and other larger groups to create a long term partnership.
- Strong problem solver and negotiator with excellent follow up skills and ability to build solid collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Demonstrates well-developed business + analytical acumen and understands how to implement/manage change.
- Excellent time management skills, attention to detail, problem solving skills and the ability to prioritize work.
- Demonstrated ability to work well under pressure, managing conflicting priorities and tight deadlines.
- Requires strong oral and written communication skills, as well as interpersonal and team building capabilities with internal functional groups as well as with external partners.
- 7+ years of people management and/or leadership experience is required.
