Job Title: Marketing Manager

Summary:
The Marketing Manager is a dynamic and creative professional responsible for assisting with developing and implementing strategic marketing initiatives to promote the Chamber of Commerce, its members, and the overall business community. This role requires a blend of strategic thinking, creative execution, and strong communication skills to enhance the Chamber's visibility, attract new members, and drive engagement across various platforms. A critical component of this role is ensuring the accuracy and integrity of all Chamber data within the CRM system.
Responsibilities:
- Strategic Marketing Planning:
- Develop and execute comprehensive marketing plans aligned with the Chamber's strategic goals and objectives.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and target audiences.
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns.
- Brand Management:
- Maintain and enhance the Chamber's brand identity and ensure consistent messaging across all platforms.
- Develop and manage brand guidelines and standards.
- Oversee the production of marketing materials, including brochures, newsletters, and website content.
- Digital Marketing:
- Manage the Chamber's website, social media channels, and email marketing campaigns.
- Develop and implement digital marketing strategies to increase online engagement and reach.
- Utilize SEO, SEM, and social media advertising to drive website traffic and generate leads.
- Analyze digital marketing data, and adjust campaigns based on the data.
- Event Marketing:
- Promote Chamber events and programs through various marketing channels.
- Develop event marketing materials, including invitations, flyers, and social media posts.
- Coordinate event sponsorships and partnerships.
- Member Communication:
- Develop and manage member communication strategies to keep members informed and engaged.
- Create and distribute regular newsletters, email updates, and other member communications.
- Gather and incorporate member feedback into marketing initiatives.
- Public Relations:
- Develop and maintain relationships with media outlets and community partners.
- Write and distribute press releases and media advisories.
- Coordinate media interviews and appearances.
- Budget Management:
- Assist with the managing of the marketing budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources.
- Track and report on marketing expenses.
- CRM Management:
- Ensure the accuracy and integrity of all data within the Chamber's CRM system, including event attendance, membership information, financial records, and marketing campaign data.
- Utilize the CRM to manage and track marketing campaigns, member interactions, and event registrations.
- Generate reports and analyze CRM data to inform marketing strategies and measure campaign effectiveness.
- Collaboration:
- Work closely with other Chamber staff members, volunteers, and members to achieve marketing goals.
- Collaborate with external vendors, such as graphic designers, web developers, and printers.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience in marketing, preferably in a non-profit or membership-based organization.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing principles and best practices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in social media management, email marketing, and website content management systems.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of the local business community is a plus.
- Experience with CRM software and data management is essential – Experience with Glue Up is a Plus.
